Odisha has reported 345 new covid-19 cases today, pushing state’s total (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 12,84,323. Of total cases, so far 12,71,843 people have recovered from the disease including 825 new recoveries reported yesterday.
Out of 345 cases, 202 people were in quarantine and detected positive. Also, as informed by H & FW Department, 111 cases are under the age group of 0-18 years’.

Jajpur district has reported 52 new cases, followed by Sundergarh 39 cases, Angul 32 cases, Sambalpur 29 cases and Khurda 25 cases.
State has registered 7 more deaths due to covid and with this, total death toll reached 9052.
Current active caseload reduced to 3375.
In last 24 hours, 53,640 tests have been conducted. Daily Positivity Rate stands at 0.64 percent.
