Bhubaneswar: September 15: Odisha reported 3,645 fresh COVID-19 Cases in last 24 hours and with this, the total number of cases in the State increased to 1,58,650.
According to Health & Family Welfare Department, out of 3,645 cases, 2,151 people were in quarantine and rest 1,494 are local contact cases.
Also, it has been informed that, Khurda district registered highest number of cases (517), followed by Cuttack 357 cases, Puri 246 cases, Bargarh 157 cases, Balasore 156 cases, Bhadrak 143 cases, Mayurbhanj 137 cases, Sambalpur 127 cases, Jajpur 116 cases, Sonepur 99 cases, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal & Koraput 95 cases each, Jharsuguda 91 cases, Nabarangpur & Nuapada 90 cases each, Sundergarh 84 cases, Rayagada & Kalahandi 79 cases each, Kendrapara 75 cases, Dhenkanal 68 cases, Keonjhar 56 cases, Ganjam 46 cases, Angul & Bolangir 39 cases each, Nayagarh 38 cases, Malkangiri 33 cases, Boudh 30 cases, Gajapati 9 cases and also, 344 cases from State Pool.
In last 24 hours, 8 persons have died due to the disease and the total death toll reached 645.
As, as per Health & Family Welfare Department, 1,22,024 patients have recovered from the disease and at present, 35,928 cases are active in Odisha.
