Bhubaneswar: September 12: Odisha registered 3,777 fresh COVID-19 Cases in last 24 hours. Out of which, 2,191 persons were in quarantine and rest 1,586 are local contact cases.
According to Health & Family Welfare Department, Khurda District reported 815 fresh COVID-19 Cases, followed by Cuttack 368 cases, Puri 237 cases, Sundergarh 148 cases, Kendrapara 148 cases, Bargarh 139 cases, Jajpur 133 cases, Balasore 127 cases, Angul 115 cases, Sambalpur 112 cases, Nabarangpur 107 cases, Jagatsinghpur 100 cases, Koraput 98 cases, Keonjhar 78 cases, Rayagada 75 cases, Nuapada 73 cases, Sonepur 72 cases, Nayagarh 71 cases, Jharsuguda & Kalahandi 70 cases each, Bhadrak & Dhenkanal 67 cases each, Ganjam & Mayurbhanj 58 cases each, Bolangir 51 cases, Kandhamal 49 cases, Boudh & Malkangiri 26 cases each, Deogarh 14 cases and Gajapati 13 cases. Besides,192 cases are there in State Pool.
With 3,777 fresh cases, State’s COVID tally increased to 1,46,894.
On Friday, 4061 patients have recovered from the disease and with this, so far, 1,12,062 patients have been cured from the infection.
In last 24 hours, 11 COVID-19 Patients have succumbed to the disease and total death toll in the State reached 616.
At present, 34,163 cases are active in Odisha.
