Bhubaneswar: September 6: Odisha registered the biggest single day spike of 3,810 Corona Positive Cases.
Out of that, 797 cases are from Khurda District only, followed by 396 from Bargarh, 322 from Cuttack, 252 from Jajpur, 192 from Jharsuguda, 142 from Mayurbhanj, 120 from Balasore, 117 from Puri, 108 from Ganjam, 107 from Bhadrak, 106 from Sonepur, 103 Kendrapara, 101 from Rayagada, 93 from Nuapada, 84 each from Keonjhar & Koraput, 83 from Sambalpur, 78 from Nabarangpur, 73 from Angul, 67 from Jagatsinghpur, 62 from Nayagarh, 57 from Kalahandi, 51 from Dhenkanal, 45 from Kandhamal, 43 from Bolangir, 37 from Malkangiri, 34 from Sundergarh, 29 from Boudh, 20 from Gajapati and 7 from Deogarh.
Also, as per Health & Family Welfare Department’s information, out of 3,810 cases, 2286 are quarantine cases and rest 1524 are local contact cases.
Total cases in the State increased to 1,24,031 and out of that, 93,774 patients have recovered from the disease.
In last 24 hours, 8 more patients died due to COVID-19 and total death toll in the State rose to 546.
At present, 29,658 patients are under treatment.
