Bhubaneswar: September 27: Odisha reported 3,922 new Corona Positive Cases in last 24 hours and with this, Odisha’s COVID tally increased to 2,09,374.
Out of 3,922 new cases, 2,309 persons were in quarantine and rest 1,613 are local contact cases.
According to Health & Family Welfare Department’s data, Khurda District reported 818 new cases in last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack 380 cases, Keonjhar 212 cases, Angul 200 cases, Puri 184 cases, Bargarh 154 cases, Mayurbhanj 149 cases, Jagatsinghpur 123 cases, Sundergarh 117 cases, Nuapada 114 cases, Jharsuguda 109 cases, Kendrapara 107 cases, Jajpur & Sundergarh 103 cases each, Bolangir 85 cases, Dhenkanal 76 cases, Kalahandi 73 cases, Balasore 72 cases, Koraput & Malkangiri 69 cases each, Kandhamal 62 cases, Bhadrak 51 cases, Rayagada, Nayagarh & Boudh 48 cases each, Nabarangpur 40 cases, Ganjam 39 cases, Sonepur 25 cases, Gajapati 22 cases, Deogarh 8 cases and State Pool 214 cases.
Odisha has reported 1,70,193 recoveries so far and at present, 38,331 cases are active in the State.
In last 24 hours, 14 persons succumbed to the disease and total death toll in the State increased to 797.
