Odisha Reports 534 New Covid-19 Cases And 18 Deaths
Daily Cases in Odisha go down further. Today, state has reported 534 new Covid Positive cases, which is 20 percent less than yesterday’s number. Total caseload in the state (since the beginning of the pandemic) increased to 12,81,989.
Of 534 new positive cases, 147 are in the age group of 0-18 years’. 310 cases were in quarantine and rest 224 are local contact cases.
So far, 12,65,843 people have recovered from the disease in the state with 1272 new recoveries reported today.
Active caseload in Odisha reduced further to 7099.
State has reported a list of 18 more deaths due to Covid-19. But, as stated by Health Department, the list does not reflect deaths occurring on a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19.
