Odisha reported 623 new Covid +Ve Cases in last 24 hours, taking State’s total (since the beginning of Pandemic) to 10,20,244 and out of that, 10,06,320 patients recovered from disease so far with 756 new recoveries reported yesterday.
Of 623 new cases, 362 people were in quarantine and rest 261 are local contact cases. Also, as per the information given by I & PR Department, 95 cases of today’s total are in the age group of 0-18.
Active cases number goes own further to 5736 which is 0.56 per cent of total cases of Odisha.
As informed by Health & Family Welfare Department, 7 more persons succumbed to the disease and total death toll in Odisha, increased to 8,135.
62,917 tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Daily Positivity Rate stands at 1 percent.
