Bhubaneswar: March 02: Odisha registered 74 new COVID-19 Cases on March 01. Of this, 45 people were in quarantine and rest 29 are local contact cases.
Sundergarh District recorded 13 cases, followed by Sambalpur 12 cases, Khurda 8 cases, Jharsuguda 6 cases, Balasore & Mayurbhanj 5 cases each, Puri & Sonepur 4 cases each, Bargarh, Balangir & Jajpur 3 cases each, Bhadrak 2 cases, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kendrapara & Keonjhar One case each and 2 cases identified from State Pool.
Rest 14 districts of the State did not have new cases.
With fresh 74 cases reported today, total cases in Odisha increased to 3,37,351 and out of that, 3,34,647 patients have recovered from the disease so far. Active caseload on today stands at 734.
