Covid-19: Odisha’s Daily Positivity Rate Drops To 1.44%
Odisha reported 886 fresh covid cases and of that, 169 are in the age group of 0-18 years’, informed Odisha H & FW Department. 516 cases were in quarantine and rest 370 cases are local contact cases. Total tally of cases (since the beginning of the pandemic) reached 12,80,784.
12,63,106 people have already been recovered from the disease so far including 1639 new recoveries reported in 24 hours.

Active cases’ number declined to 8664.
All the districts of the state have recorded less than 100 cases each today except Sambalpur (179).
Health Department has reported a list of 16 more deaths today.
But, as stated by the department, the list does not reflect deaths occurring on a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19.
61,492 tests have been conducted in last 24 hours. Daily Positivity Rate remains at 1.44 percent.
