Odisha Continues To Report Over 10-K Covid -19 Daily Cases
Odisha registered 10,273 fresh Covid-19 cases today. Yesterday also it has reported over 10,000 cases. Of which, 1065 patients are between 0-18 years’ of age. Also, as reported by Health & Family Welfare Department, 5962 people were found Covid Positive when they were in quarantine. Rest 4311 are local contacts.
Khurda District continues to report highest cases(3496), followed by Sundergarh (1049), Cuttack (844), Sambalpur (529), Balasore (457), Mayurbhanj (340), Puri (269), Kalahandi (203) and Jharsuguda (202).
1447 patients recovered from the disease in 24 hours.
Total tally of Covid-19 cases (since the beginning of the pandemic) increased to 11,11,879. Out of that, 1050179 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
Active caseload rose to 53171.
75,731 tests have been done in 24 hours. Of which, 10,273 cases came out as Positive. Daily Positivity Rate increases to 13.56 per cent.
4 deaths have been recorded in 24 hours and with this, total death toll reached 8476.
