Bhubaneswar: May 08: Odisha Small Industries Corporation Ltd. has contributed ten lakh rupees to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for strengthening State’s fight against the pandemic of Covid-19.
Presenting the cheque to Chief Secretary Sri Suresh Chandra Mahapatra in Lokseba Bhawan, Chairman of the Corporation Sri Chinmoy Kumar Sahoo said, “Because of the visionary leadership and timely action of Chief Minister Sri Naveen Patnaik, Odisha has done well in containing spread of the pandemic. Today Odisha is comparatively in better position than many neighboring States. Odisha is providing the test, hospitalization and treatment facilities to all covid infected person free of cost. With people’s participation in observance of the Covid norms, Odisha will be able to give sturdy checkmate to the disease in coming days”.
While complementing the corporation for the contribution, Chief Secretary Sri Mahapatra urged upon them to follow all guidelines of Covid both at the official and personal levels. Managing Director of the Corporation Sri Pradipta Kumar Sahani accompanied the Chairman on the occasion.
