Bhubaneswar: August 6: It has been decided by Odisha Government on Friday to resume physical classroom teaching in all the Universities and Colleges under the Higher Education Department.
Higher Education Department has issued a notification regarding this. As per the notification, Universities and Colleges shall start physical classroom teaching from August 16 for the Post Graduate (PG) First Year and Under Graduate, pre-final year students. The Hostel accommodation facilities for the students will also be opened from August 16.
Universities and Colleges (under Higher Education Dept) will open for physical classroom teaching (and for hostel accommodation) from 16.08.21 for PG First Year and UG Pre-Final Year students. Exams for PG/UG Final Year students will be held in online mode as planned earlier.

As announced yesterday, physical classroom teachings for Class IX Students shall also begin from August 16. Classes for Class IX students will be from 9am to 12.30 pm.
