Bhubaneswar: August 28: The passing out parade of Odisha Industrial Security Force (OISF) held at 7th OSAP Battalion in Bhubaneswar. Addressing the passing out parade of the first batch recruit constables, Chief Minister of Odisha said, ‘My government has created the Odisha Industrial Security Force to provide an integrated safety and security cover to the Industrial undertakings and establishments. Odisha has achieved one of the highest industrial growths and is among the most attractive investment destinations in the country. OISF will play a vital role in providing peaceful industrial atmosphere in the state.’
Expressing his pleasure, Chief Minister said, ‘I am happy to know that 1289 constables including 203 women constables are passing out today after completion of their 270 days’ of training. It is for the first time that women have been inducted to the Armed Police wing in Odisha. It is to heartening to know that, in the outdoor subjects’ women constables have performed very well by securing 8 out of 10 top spots’.
Chief Minister also congratulated Ms Purnima Mohapatra for being the overall topper of the batch.
Advising the newly recruited constables, Naveen said, ‘All the members of OISF should commit themselves towards professionalism in terms of providing security to different establishments which will contribute immensely to the economic growth of the state.’
