Cuttack, March 13: Commissionerate Police on Saturday quizzed a senior functionary of the Cuttack Nagar Yuvak Sangh in connection with the notorious Dhalsamant brother case and arrested another associate of the criminal duo.
Chauliagunj Police arrested Mantu for his alleged links with the Dhalsamant brothers who are believed in numerous crimes including gun running racket and murders.
Secretry of the Yuvak Sangh Sanjay Behera was summoned to Chauliagunj Police Station by DCP Sanjeev Arora and quizzed over his association with the notorious criminals, said souces.
The DCP and three Additional Commissioner of Police questioned Behera. Notably, the Dhalsamant brothers had been instrumental in formation of the Yuvak Sangha ostensibly to derive political clout.
