Bhubaneswar: November 01: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the new Saheed Rendo Majhi Medical College at Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi today in the presence of Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya.
The Chief Minister is slated to visit Kalahandi at 11 AM and inaugurate the new Medical college which has been built with a cost of more than Rs 300 crore.

The National Medical Commission has awarded authorization for the admission of 100 MBBS students for the 2023-24 academic session of the new Medical College.
During the visit, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will flag off the LAccMI Bus service in the district. A fleet of 63 ultra-contemporary Laxmi buses will provide modern connectivity between rural areas and urban areas of the district.
The Odisha Chief Minister will also unveil the Bhawanipatna Bus Terminal and lay the cornerstones for infrastructure projects valued at Rs 1200 crore.
