Cuttack, Feb 4: Chief Justice of Orissa High Court Justice D H Waghela has been transferred to Bombay High Court in the same capacity.
According to officials in the High Court registry, Justice Waghela is likely to assume the new charge on or before February 16.
The Supreme Court collegium last month had recommended the transfer of Justice Waghela along with appointment of six other Chief Justices of different High Courts in its first set of suggestions after scrapping of national Judicial Appointments Commission Act by the apex court in October last year.
