Cuttack, April 11: The Commissionerate of Police has so far sent notices to 13 persons to appear before the Chauliaganj Police for questioning in connection with Balighat (sand dune) auction in which the arrested Dhalasamant brothers were allegedly involved.
Of these eight persons belong to Cuttack and nearby places while five are from outside the State, DCP Sanjeev Arora has said.
Some of them had won the Balighat auction while others had opted out of the process, the DCP said adding the police will try to ascertain whether the D-borthers had any role in the Balighat auctions.
According to him, the Commissionerate Police has sent two special teams outside the State to nab the absconders in Sheikh Farooq case.
