Malkangiri, Jan 13: Just after the Maoist posters had been sighted in Kudumuluguma village here in which it threatened the locals to opt out from the upcoming panchayat polls, today six persons including five poll officials were abducted by the Maoists here. the five polls officials have been kidnapped by the Maoists from five panchayats located in Chitrakonda. The names of the abducted officials are Purusottam Behera, Lingaraj Majhi, Hrushikesh Naik, Praveen Soren and Kaminikant Singh. Jodamba village head Laxman Sisa’s son Manoranjan Sisa is the sixth one to be abducted.
