Partial lockdown in Odisha for next 2 weeks

Bhubaneswar: July 15: Odisha will be under partial lockdown for next two weeks till 6 am of August 1. But, government has declared some relaxations in the lockdown conditions.

As informed by Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra on Thursday, in category ‘A’ districts, shops will remain open from 7 am to 8 pm whereas in category ‘B’ districts it is 7 am to 5 pm.

The weekend shutdown will continue in Category B districts, which shall be effective from 5 pm on Fridays, will continue till 6 am on Monday. Likewise, Night Curfew shall be in palce in 10 Category B districts.

Gyms, Spas and Salons will reopen from tomorrow across Odisha in adherence to COVID-19 Protocols.

Bus, taxi, auto rickshaw services will start across the State. But, no Bus services will be allowed to Puri till July 25 for Rath Yatra.

Buses will run with seating capacity only. No standing passenger will be allowed.

As decided by Government, Schools, Cinema halls, Parks, Exhibitions, Jatra and malls will remain closed across the State.
