Bhubaneswar: The Polygraph test of IIC Bharatpur Police Dinakrushna Mishra who had allegedly misbehaved an army Captain and his fiancée on Septemer 15, is going to be conducted today. A team of sleuths led by ADG, Odisha Crime Branch Arun Bothra have reached the Forensic Lab at Gujarat’s Gandhinagar with the Bharatpur IIC for performing the lie-detection test which is considered indispensable for the highprofile and sensational case.
Earlier on Sunday, a team of Odisha Crime Branch had left for Gujarat on Sunday, to put up the IIC before the Forensic Lab technicians at Gandhinagar for the lie-detection test. The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court, Bhubaneswar had allowed the polygraph test of Bharatpur Police Station Instepctor-in-Charge (IIC) Dinakrushna Mishra in connection with the assault on the Army Captain and his fiancée earlier on Wednesday.
The court, hearing a submission of the Odisha Crime Branch, allowed conducting the polygraph test of the IIC with another four cops of the Bharatpur Police Station in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar for allegedly assaulting the Captain’s fiancée sexually. On the other hand, the court acknowledged the submission of the IIC who gave his consent for the test and assured all cooperation for the ensuing investigation.
