Police detained School President for his alleged role in the Mamita’s case

Govinda Sahu, President of Sunshine English Medium School, escaped from the custody of Titlagarh Police. He was detained by Police in connection with his alleged role in the missing of the lady teacher Mamita Meher.

Sources said, the accused Govinda Sahu escaped from Police Custody on the pretext of going to bathroom for washing his hands.

Earlier, Mamita’s brother had lodged an FIR accusing Sahu of having direct involvement in the missing of his sister. Further, Sahu was detained by Police.

Titlagarh Police has launched  a manhunt to nab Sahu and for that, several checking points have been made by Police.

Three police personnel who were guarding Sahu at the barrack, were suspended from service by the Titlagarh SP.

Notably, the missing teacher Momita’s family alleged that,  Sahu used to force the women employees at the school to keep illicit relationships with him. They also said, Mamitaa threatened him to expose his activities. So, School President  is  directly involved in her missing, said her brother.
