Bolangir, Dec 15: A prisoner, who was under trial at the Bolangir Jail died last night due to extreme negligence in treatment.
Identified as Satya Mallick of Dhumamara Village, the deceased was admitted to the DHH after he fell ill last night. But unfortunately, he succumbed to his death while undergoing treatment.
Though the family members have alleged that he died due to timely medical negligence, the jail authorities have denied the allegations and had said that he died of cardiac arrest.
