Cuttack, Apr 11: Today the Orissa HC has issued an interim order threatening isolation of the disputed Swargadwara land in Puri and has made Shankaracharya a party in the case. Lawyer Ashok Mohapatra of Govardhan peeth received the notice and appeared on behalf of Shankaracharya. The order was passed after the court heard a petition in this regard. Lawyer of the petitioner, Ashok Mohaptra stated to media that the petition has been filed for the demolition of the illegal structures on the encroached Swargadwara land and has requested the court to void the fake documents and after hearing the petition, the bench has made Shankaracharya of Govardhan peeth a party in the case. The petitioner Abhisek Das had made chief secretary, Revenue secretary, Puri municipality, Endowment Commissioner, PKDA, RDC (central), Puri Collector, SP, and tehsildar, a party in the case.
