Bhubaneswar, Mar 11: Shallow fog observed at isolated pocket North Interior Odisha. Rainfall has occurred at a most places over Odisha with heavy rain fall at one or two places over north Odisha. Chief amount of rainfall have occurred in Joshipur (dist Mayurbhanj), Bhograi (dist Balasore), Chhatrapur (dist Ganjam), Balimundali (dist Mayurbhanj), Tigiria (dist Cuttack), Kantapada (dist Cuttack), Mahanga (dist Cuttack), Athgarh (dist Cuttack), Jamankira (dist Sambalpur), Burla (dist Sambalpur), Jaleswar (dist Balasore), Bhadrak (dist Bhadrak), Odagaon (dist Nayagarh). Maximum temperatures observed no large change over South Odisha. They were normal over l Odisha . Minimum temperatures observed appreciable fall over south interior Odisha and no large change over rest Odisha. They were above normal over north Interior Odisha and normal over rest Odisha.
Having a partly cloudy sky with thunder showers of 19.6 mm to occur, Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours a maximum and minimum temperature of 33 degree Celsius and 21 degree Celsius respectively on Sunday.

On Thursday, rainfall with thunder to occur at South Odisha and weather to be dry in the North. As per the weather forecasters, isolated thunder-squall activity likely to occur over Odisha.
For the farmers, rains with thundershowers and hail storms to occur in some places in Coastal Odisha, in the adjoining districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Kandhamal, Kalahandi and Mayurbhanj and then at a few places in Interior Odisha with a wind speed reaching 60-70 kmph.
For the fishermen, strong and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph likely to prevail along and off Odisha coast and hence fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea.
The highest maximum temperature of 36.00C was recorded at Bolangir and Sonepur and the lowest minimum temperature of 12.50C was recorded at Sundergarh in the plains of Odisha.
