Bhubaneswar: July 15: The ‘Dadhineuti’ (Temple Top) of the Rameswar temple in MausiMa Square in the capital city of Bhubaneswar is said to have broken into pieces and fallen due to thunder and lightning.

According to sources, the lightning struck around 10 a.m. today while rituals were taking place inside the temple, which is located on the premises of the Mausi Maa temple in the Capital City.

The visitors and servitors present inside the temple had a close shave in the lightning strike incident.

The lightning strike was so powerful that the Dadhinauti stone shattered and fell to the ground. According to eyewitnesses, there was a loud bang during the lightning strike, and the entire area went dark immediately.

Following the receipt of information, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) officials visited the site and assessed the situation.
