Puri, July 9 : The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) will decide on the permanent repair of Garbha Griha and Jagmohan of the sanctum sanctorum of Sri Jagannath temple in the next couple of days, Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) chief Suresh Mohapatra informed.
The ASI DG and other senior officials, including experts of Chennai and Kharagpur IITs, gave their opinions on the repair of Jagmohan and Garbha Griha.
“Before Niladri Vije of the Trinity, we will decide on the works and we must complete,” ASI Joint Director General (DG) SB Ota said.
Officials of the shrine administration and Works department were also present on the occasion.
