Puri Shree Jagannath Temple Administration approves Rs 190 crore annual budget

Bhubaneswar, May 11: The repair works of Jagmohan hall at the Puri Jagannath temple will be completed by June 2, said the state government.

Though the famous car festival falls on the same month, the repair works needed to be completed before that. Relating to this, the Works department has also submitted an affidavit before the Orissa High Court, said sources.

Producing an affidavit before the court, the ASI had earlier said to complete the work by June 2017. However, the left over work and especially the steel framing of the ceiling of the hall will be completed within the schedule, said sources.
