Bhubaneswar, Dec 27: On the basis of statements given by three friends of Ashutosh Mohanty aka Rishi, the commissionrate police’s investigating officer (IO) is likely to interrogate Ananta Narayan Jena, BMC Mayor on Tuesday.
On Monday, the cops interrogated Rishi’s father, mother and sister and they obtained some more information, Satyabrata Bhoi, DCP Bhubaneswar informed. The IO may interrogate Jena based upon the information provided by Rishi’s friends, if required.
Besides that, police is also looking for information regarding Jena’s link in this case, he’s involvement in threatening Rishi who had the sex video and he’s connection with Rishi’s girlfriend and family.
On Monday, BJP activists took out a rally heading towards Naveen Niwas demanding BMC Mayor’s resignation. But upon reaching Rajmahal Square, the activists were stopped by the police.

Interestingly, On Monday during the BJD’s 19th foundation day, Mayor Jena was found absent from the meeting. Later he informed the media that he could not attend the meeting as his mother was not well and he had also informed the same to CM even.
A twist comes up in this case when a message in which Rishi threatens a man and a woman regarding something, is revealed.
