Bhubaneswar, Dec 27: Yesterday, in connection to the horrific accident that happened at the SUM hospital last month that took 31 lives, the Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) central division, AB Ota took deposition of SUM hospital owner Manoj Nayak and seven others. On being informed that Nayak won’t be available in the afternoon in Cuttack on Monday, Ota interrogated him at the Bhubaneswar circuit house and also took his deposition. Earlier, the planning member of BDA had also deposed before Ota and his statement had been recorded. Around 6 persons appeared before the revenue commissioner in Cuttack to record their statements. Ota informed that the final phase of deposition will take place on Dec 29 for which six persons have been sent notice.
