Road accident in Deogarh kills two and injures other two today

Deogarh, May 31: Today, two brothers were killed and two others injured after the bike on which they were travelling skid off at the Kalajira old bridge near Balam village here. The name of the two were Bhaskar Lohora and Punu Lohora and the other injured were said to be cousins named as Bishnu Lohora and the identity of the other injured is still uncertain. It so happened that all four of them were going on a motorcycle to a nearby village at 4 am for arranging some materials as it was their sister’s engagement today. They used the old bridge that was in a dilapidated condition after construction of a new road on National Highway 49. It was on the bridge that the two-wheeler went out of control and skidded off the broken bridge. The incident came out in the open when one of the injured informed a nearby village. Immediately the locals rushed to the spot and found that Bhaskar and Punu had died on the spot while Bishnu and the other injured were taken to the Burla Medical College and Hospital in Sambalpur.
