Road mishap: 7 injured in Mayurbhanj, Odisha

Baripada, Nov 4: On Thursday night, seven persons sustained injuries as the driver of the bus they were travelling in lost control of the vehicle and hit a road-side tree near Kankumura square at Udala in Mayurbhanj district.

As per sources, the ill-fated private bus ‘Nisamani’ was travelling from Udala to Sarat, when the driver of the bus lost control of the bus and hit a road-side tree in which seven passengers got injured. The condition of two injured passengers identified as Raimani Marandi of Dhipasahi village and Sarojini Singh of Baghapada, amongst the seven injured passengers is stated to be critical and the two have been admitted at Udala hospital. The five other passengers have been admitted at Kataria primary health centre.
