Rohit Sharma, captaining India in Today’s match

India and Australia are playing a warm-up match today at ICC Cricket Academy Ground in Dubai.

Batter Rohit Sharma is captaining India Cricket Team today as Virat Kohli has been rested along with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami.

India team management shall finalise the batting order and playing 11 soon ahead of marquee clash against arch-rivals Pakistan on October 24.

Australia captain Aaron Finch won the toss and elected to bat first.

India won their previous warm-up match against England. England batted first and scored 188-5 on the scoreboard.  Jonny Bairstow played very well & scored  49 runs while Moeen Ali struck quick 43. For India, Mohammed Shami scalped 3 wickets in the match.

Indian opener KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan gave an 82-run opening stand. Rahul scored 51 runs while Kishan hit 70 runs. India won the match in the 19th over by 7 wickets.
