RPF rescues three child labourers and arrests middleman at Puri railway station

Puri, Nov 4: Three child labourers hailing from Malda of West Bengal were rescued from Puri Railway station by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) while they were being taken to Bhubaneswar to work in a construction company.

As per sources, the middleman accompanying the children was also arrested by the RPF.

As per the information from Puri RPF inspector PK Bhoi, the three kids were rescued by the RPF and the middleman was arrested when the four were escorting the Howrah-Puri Dhauli express train.

Director of Puri child line, Debasis Rath said that suspecting something doubtful when the children were roaming inside the train suspiciously, the RPF force rescued the kids and detained the elder person travelling in the train with them.

After rescuing the kids, they were later handed over to Child Welfare Committee (CWC).
