Jagatsinghpur, Dec 21: In another shameful incident, Badri Narayan Patra, Rural Development Minister faced an egg attack by some BJP activists on Tuesday here. The incident happened when the minister was on his way to Balikuda to attend an inauguration event. Later Patra visited the place and laid foundation stone for a new project. A new hospital building was also inaugurated by Patra.
Police has detained around 30 persons in this case. Later, more supporters gheraod the police station and staged demonstration against the arrest in protest of the detention of their party workers.
