Sand Art On Lord Shiva With 23k Rudraksha Beads By Sudarshan Pattnaik
Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a mesmerizing sand art of Lord Shiva on the occasion of Maha Shivratri and write ‘We pray for peace’ at puri beach.
Sudarsan Pattnaik, the International fame sand artiste, has created a sculpture of Lord Shiva and adorned it with 23,436 Rudrakshas.
The 18-feet-wide and nine-foot-high sand art was erected on Monday and is complete with a recurring theme in his recent works. “Om Namah Shivaya.
We pray for peace,” reads a section of the artwork.
In a tweet, he said, On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, For the first time I have used 23,436 Rudrakshya installed on My Sand art of Lord Shiva at Puri beach .
The Padma Shri awardee sand artist has participated in more than 60 international sand sculpture competitions and festivals around the world and won many prizes for the country.
