Bhubaneswar, May 16: Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Odisha. Heat wave condition prevailed over some parts of Odisha. Warm night has observed at isolated places over South Interior Odisha (Bolangir). Chief amount of rainfall recorded in cms are Remuna (dist Balasore), Thakurmunda (dist Mayurbhanj), Bonth (dist Bhadrak), Rajghat (dist Balasore), Jamsolaghat (dist Mayurbhanj), Nilgiri (dist Balasore), Rairangpur (dist Mayurbhanj), Bhograi (dist Balasore), Basudevpur (dist Bhadrak), Chandanpur (dist Mayurbhanj), Danagadi (dist Jajpur), Korei (dist Jajpur), Jaleswar (dist Balasore), Bhadrak (dist Bhadrak), Chandbali (dist Bhadrak), Baripada (dist Mayurbhanj). Maximum temperatures observed no large change over Odisha. They were appreciably above normal over Interior Odisha, above normal over North Coastal Odisha and normal over South Coastal Odisha.
The highest maximum temperature of 46.20 C was recorded at Bolangir and the lowest minimum temperature of 21.90 C was recorded at Chandibali in the plains of Odisha.
Having a partly cloudy sky, Odisha is likely to experience a maximum and minimum temperature of 40 and 27 degree Celsius respectively on Wednesday.
The maximum and minimum relative humidity is to be 88% and 59% respectively.

On Thursday, rains with thunder squall and hail storms to occur in Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal Balasore and Bhadrak. Heat wave condition to prevail in Interior Odisha. Wind speed to be 50-60 kmph.
On Friday and Saturday, rains with thundersquall and hail storms to occur in North Odisha with wind speed being 50-60 kmph and also in few places of South Odisha.
On Sunday, rains with thundersquall and hail storms to occur in districts f Coastal Odisha with wind speed being 50-60 kmph and also in few places of Interior Odisha.
As per the weather forecasters, from May 21, there will be a decrease in temperature and thundersqualls will continue.
