Bhubaneswar: September 01: Senior India Audit and Accounts Service officer Ms Anita Pattanaik assumed office as Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General. Prior to this, she was working as addl.deputy CAG. Anita Pattanaik, the 1982-batch IA & AS officer has also served as Principal AG of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Odisha. Pattanaik, daughter of Late Kishore Chandra Pattanaik, Ex DGP Odisha and noted social worker Anjali Pattanaik, is the first lady officer to achieve such distinction. She has pursued her higher education from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi and also London School of Economics.
