Bhadrak: Today is Shitalsasthi. On this occasion Baba Akhandalamani of the famous Aradi Peetha in Bhadrak district of Odisha will turn groom to marry Goddess Parvati. The divine wedding will be held amid Vedic rituals.

For this, the famous Aradi Peeth of Bhadrak is bustling. Preparations are complete to celebrate the Godly wedding. The Aradi Peetha is decorated with beautiful lights. The temple premises are decorated with flowers.

As per the schedule, at 10 am, the ‘Baradhara’ procession will leave from the bride’s house for the groom’s house. Later, in the evening At 7 pm, the procession of the groom Lord Mahadev will leave for the bride’s house.

All the Devs, and Shivgans will participate in this groom’s Shobha Yatra. Various types of musical instruments will be performed along with traditional art forms that have come from the state and outside the state. Thousands of devotees will also join in the procession.

Keeping in view the large crowd of devotees, extensive security arrangements have been made by the police administration and 10 platoons of police have been deployed to maintain peace and order. Along with this, arrangements have also been made for the devotees to enjoy prasad at various places.
