Bhubaneswar, Sept 16: After few days to the incident of group clash during Ganesh Idol immersion, an improved situation was observed at Soro town on Thursday.
The imposed section 144 of CrPC was relaxed from 7 am to 5 pm yesterday following which shops and business establishments were working normally in the town.
On the other side, in Rourkela, Section 144 of CrPC was still in effect between Bisra Chhak and Ambedkar Chhak.
To keep situation under control, around 20 platoons of police force have been appointed in the city.
As per the recent information, around 15 persons have been arrested in Rourkela and around 18 persons have been arrested in Soro town for their alleged involvement in the group clash during idol immersion on September 12.
