South East Asia tourism policy: The new adoption to Odisha Tourism

Bhubaneswar, Feb 21: The govt. of Odisha in collaboration with airlines operator Air Asia, will soon make new policies to promote tour packages to South east Asia. The notification followed after a discussion which was held at the Tourism advisory committee meeting headed by Chief Secretary  Aditya Padhi. According to the reports, a new policy will soon be formulated to promote tour packages to south east Asia. The Odisha tourism department will organise various new packages like Jagannath Trail, Coastal Trek, Coastal Cruise, Cycle Tours, Food Festivals and Weekend Gateways, said Tourism Secretary Arati Ahuja.

The collaboration will help boost tourism in the state, said CS Padhi. A new sand art museum will soon open up in Puri, CS Padhi directed.
While the advertisement for the Odisha tourism will be done in major important airports in the countries and international convention centres, Major events in Paris, madrid and singapore will also be linked to it majorly, said Tourism Director Nitin Jawale, along with three trip for senior citizens will be sponsored under the Baristha Nagarika Tirthayatra Yojana, he added.
