Special Task Force seizes 250 grams of Brown Sugar
Special Task Force (STF) of the Puri police and the Baliapanda Police jointly busted a drug trading racket and arrested five persons near the Puri by-pass road on Wednesday.
Police seized 250 grams of brown sugar from the possession of arrested persons.
The 5 arrested persons have been identified as Dhirendra Sahu, alias Tutu (40), Subrat Khuntia alias Babul (23), Madhab Mandal alias Sana (28), Aditya Narayan Swain alias Adi (30), Suraj Parida alias Gudu (21).
Also, 11 mobile phones, Rs 5000 cash, two ATM cards, one motorcycle and an Innova Car have been seized from the smugglers.
As said, they were supplying the contraband to users of Puri town.
