Puri, July 19: The East Coast Railway has decided to initiate Pushkaram Special Trains from Puri to Raygada during Krishna Pushkaram Festival 2016, to avoid hustle and bustle and to have a free journey for passengers. It has also been decided to create a number of additional berths in special trains.
According to the decision, Puri-Guntur Pushkaram Special train would leave Puri at 11:30 am on August 11, 16, 19 and 22 and the train would reach Guntur at 6:30 am on the next days. While returning, the special train would leave Guntur at 7 pm on August 12, 17, 20 and 23 and would reach Puri at 11:25 am on the following days.
Similarly, Raygada- Krishna Canal Special train would start for Raygada at 2:30 pm on August 11, 16, 19 and 22 and would reach Krishna Canal at 4:15 am on the next days. While returning, it would leave Krishna Canal at 8:40 pm on August 12, 17, 20, 23 and would reach at Raygada at 9 am on the following days, ECoR official informed. Accommodation reserved facility also will be made available for the special trains, further added.
