Bolangir, Aug 31: Another death news of a woman named, Bhagabati Kunwar aged 65 due to starvation was reported in western Odisha. It’s stated that she died due to the lack of food at her home in Mahimunda village under Puintala block of Balangir district on Tuesday.
She had been getting a monthly pension from the government but had not been issued with a BPL card. Villagers informed that Bhagabati had lost her husband long ago and now only had a son named Haddu, who is now staying in Tamil Nadu looking for job opportunities.
On getting information about her death, administrative officers and media persons reached the spot.
