Bhadrak, Feb 20: In a shocking incident, the state congress today has called for a CBI inquiry to probe into Congress leader Suresh Rout’s accident death. The congress here alleges that Suresh’s death is no accident and is a pre-planned murder rather.
Criticising the ruling BJD, senior party leader, OPCC, Jaydev Jena said, “This was a politically motivated murder and the BJD activists and leaders have always tried to get him out of the way”.
Further he also demanded that the evil should be penalised as per IPC section 302.
Senior leader Ananta Sethi also gave his views in this stating that, the law and order situation in the area has worsened under BJD rule. While the police and administration watch the show, hand on hand.
Earlier, on Sunday, Suresh and his friend suffered a severe accident, when an unidentified vehicle crashed into them killing Suresh on the spot while his friend was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
