Bhubaneswar, May 27: Picking up the SOA University Fake Job offer letter issue, the students’ wing of congress today took out a bike rally in the capital, from Congress Bhawan to Naveen Nivas, thus demanding the government for the immediate arrest of the college authorities along with a detailed investigations into the matter.
But, however, the rally was checked by the police at the Sishu Bhavan square thus leading to a big scuffle between the police and the activists in the area.
In the meanwhile, the student workers were also seen burning effigies of CM Naveen Patnaik and Technical Education minister Usha Devi. In this regards, to avoid any untoward situation to occur, the police took few activists into custody.
On the other hand, the commissionerate police has today, sought a 3-day remand period for arrested ITER dean Raj Kishore Hota.
