Bhubaneswar: In Subhadra Yojana of Odisha, the disbursement of money that had been slated for December 25, 2024 has been put on hold. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida informed in a Statement on Monday.
As per reports, the government of Odisha has postponed the payment of the fourth phase of the 1st instalment of Subhadra Scheme money to the beneficiary women, which was to be received on December 25, 2024.
Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha Pravati Parida said today that the entire verification process of the beneficiaries is not yet complete. This is the last chance for the beneficiary women to comply with the necessary requirement of the scheme, who have not completed the verification process so far.
The Deputy CM advised the beneficiaries to complete the Subhadra verification process immediately through E-KYC and biometrics.
It is to be noted that more than 20 lakh beneficiary women will get Subhadra money in this phase.
A very important point is that a major portion of the beneficiaries (about 5 lakhs) have faced problem for clearance as they have not cleared their biometrics. Point to be noted that the beneficiaries/ applicants of Subhadra Yojana who have entered through OTP are also required to clear add their biomatrics. They can get it done in Mo Seva Kendras, the Deputy CM said.
