Bhubaneswar: May 1: Subroto Bagchi joins today as chief of Odisha Skill Development Authority. Sources said, Bagchi will visit all the 30 districts in the next 15 days to have the study on ground reality and initiatives taken till date to chalk out the plan for the development of skills of the youths of Odisha.
After meeting with the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday, Bagchi visited Shree Jagannath Temple, Puri with his family members to have the darshan of the deities.
Bagchi will be in the rank of cabinet minister and report to Chief Minister. Towards salary, he will draw only Rs.1 per annum.
