Bhubaneswar, March 14: A special ward for treatment of sunstroke patients has been opened at the Capital Hospital here with ten beds and air-conditioning facilities.
According to senior Hospital officials, the ward has been equipped with all required medicines, saline and ice-packs for treatment sunstroke patients.
The Swine Flu and Dengue Wards have been converted into a Sunstroke Ward keeping in mind the rising temperature during daytime, they said.
Doctors have already been provided training for the purpose and asked to attend to sunstroke patients on a priority basis.
