Delhi Air Pollution : 'Red Light On, Gaadi off' To Delhi Pollution: Centre Suggests for Carpoll, No Work From Home

New Delhi: November 13: During the hearing on air and pollution of Delhi-NCR, the Supreme Court issued notice the Center. The apex court has also asked the central government to assess the feasibility of hydrogen-based fuel technology, so that a solution can be found to reduce the level and impact of fatal air pollution. The court also said in its order that, Japan has reduced pollution levels through this technology.

The Supreme Court has asked the Center to reply in this matter by 3rd December.
The Supreme Court slammed the government which failed to reduce pollution, saying, “The level of pollution has increased so much in other parts of northern India, including New Delhi, that people have difficulty breathing.” In such a situation, the central government should see whether hydrogen based fuel technology can prove to be effective as a solution instead of petrol.
