Bhubaneswar, Apr 18: On Sunday, Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu during his visit to Pipli informed to media that the famous appliqué work (chandua in local parlance) of Pipili in Puri will be included in the IRCTC’s website for e-marketing along with other art and craft products that would also be uploaded on the website for soon for promoting national and international market. Prabhu had been here to attend the BJP’s national executive meet here and during the course he also visited Pipli where he interacted with the appliqué traders and he also asked about their digital transaction. Later at the meeting, he focused on the several developmental schemes and policies initiated by the PM Narendra Modi in Odisha. Lastly, he also assured to look upon the work of connecting Kurdha Road and Konark via Pipili through railways.
